I tried freezing my leftover coffee, and glued some wood together with ice.

The temperature was like 3 to 6 below zero, and it was snowing quite a lot. The water didn't freeze overnight as I had expected. The freezer in a fridge is actually 18 degrees below zero! Also, the snowfalling onto the open surface of the moulds interfered with the surface texture...

I thought this was frozen solid, but it was just a thin outer layer of ice - the rest was water. Interesting.

The plastic bag experiment was quite pretty. The outer layer on this one was too thin to support itself, but it produced an interesting object.

Again, it takes a LONG time to freeze water. I started to get a premonition of having to plan things quite well, and try to figure out a way to acurately judge times for different techniques of freezing... I'm only here for 30 days...
